Diane Morrison
Chief Financial Officer
Growing up in El Paso, Diane was influenced by its multiculturalism. After graduating from Texas Christian University with a degree in Interior Design and Architecture with a minor in business, she returned to operate her own construction firm that designed, built and remodeled homes for 16 years. Her ability to speak fluent Spanish was very helpful.
Always an artist, Diane is an accomplished muralist and developed her own style of copper enameling, which she has sold in the Dallas World Trade Center, displayed in galleries and art shows across the US.
In 1999, Diane moved with her children, Melissa and Michael, to Highland Village, Texas. When Michael became involved in the theatre program at Marcus High School, Diane agreed to help with sets for the productions. As a result, she took all of her artistic talents and construction skills and became a free lance set designer for live theatres across the Metroplex.
When Diane married Mike in 2005, she agreed to put her paint brush down and work with him to manage their growing business. She works in the office, maintaining the books, correspondence, workshops, and coordinating special events for clients. She and Mike belong to the Highland Village Rotary, Flower Mound Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Flower Mound, Highland Village Business Association, and Better Business Bureau. They attend Cross Timbers Community Church with their family in Argyle, Texas
Diane still designs theatre sets from time to time, does faux paintingĀ and murals. She also designed and finished out our offices at the District of Highland Village. She would be happy to share her techniques with anyone who would like to try something a little different.
